My sister Jeanie, is retiring from the Catholic Home. They have down sized. Luckily Jeanie was retirement age, so she won't have to look for another job. She's friends with the retired nuns, so we will go back to visit with them. This was where young girls would go to school to study about joining a convent. It has some beautiful grounds. I am hoping it isn't sold off to developers. What a shame that would be. Jeanie has one more day to work, this Saturday. I pray Jeanie can enjoy her retirement.:):)
Tell Jeanne congratulations and to take some time to get used to it. There are so many things to do out there in our wonderful world besides work a full-time job. Tell her to stop and smell the roses. And if she gets really bored she can come up my way and help me with beehives!

There aren't many nuns and priests any more. Lot's of downsizing out here as well. I wish Jeanie a wonderful retirement!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Susie!

Please tell her congratulations! She will need to allow some time to "adjust" but once she does, she will find how wonderful it is. I'm so busy at times I wonder how I did work! :-)
