While working outside, I found these robin eggs. So sad, they had blown out of the nest during a storm here. One was broken, but I knew the others had been out of the nest too long.
Here's a big rose that grew on the rose bush my daughter gave me. I transplanted it last year and thought it was a goner. That miracle grow is some good stuff, it saved this rose.
I had brunch with my buddies this morning. Now I have to get busy working with Ted. Hope you are having a great day. xoxo
That's sad about the eggs...and they are such a beautiful color. Your rose is gorgeous! I like Miracle Grow, too, and my hubby uses epsom salts mixed with water a few times during the summer and that really makes them take off.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
XO,
Jane

One wonders how the bird population survives. Those tiny eggs are subject to such hazards!:-(
ReplyDeleteBrunch with friends sounds like fun!
Have a good Monday!

Still traveling but wanted to pop in and say Hi! So sad about the baby birds and I love the roses- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteCan you dry the eggs? I have done that. Thank you for your sweet comment. I tell you I loved the comments form my Tied To a Place Post. I could have hugged each one of you. xo, olive
ReplyDeleteThose eggs are so pretty. The rose is gorgeous too.
ReplyDeleteNow I have to try Miracle Gro on my roses. The rose is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo sad about the eggs. But there's nothing you can do about it.
I found a couple of spent robin eggs in the flower bed last weekend. They hatched out and then mom kicked out the shells. They are the most pretty blue color. Sorry about your babies. We found several babies after the bad storm we had a couple weeks ago in the yard and you knew they were just blown out from under mom. Miracle Grow is awesome. I need to use mine soon. Try epsom salts, too. And banana peels for roses. They need the potassium.
ReplyDeleteOh sigh... the eggs.... But these things will happen... But still, sigh.
ReplyDeletesad about the eggs..Nature isn't always kind..
