And a bit of that... This old truck is parked at the front of our local supermarket. It is a Marsh store..I think years ago, this truck was used in home delivering groceries. It's restored to perfection. Love it.
Our neighbor's lost a big oak tree last spring. They asked Ted if he would like it for fire wood. Ted could not get the chainsaws out fast enough. :):) The neighbors had a tree trimmer cut it and a smaller tree into huge chunks, then Ted took over.
The neighbor and Ted cleaned up all the debris and burned the trash of the tree. Then Ted hauled and stacked enough wood to use this coming winter.
This is a photo of our back yard. Look at all the crunchy dried up leaves. Plus the grass is crunchy also. Today we got a tiny rain. I am worried for all those getting too much rain. We sure could use a soaking but no one wants flooding. Blessings today. xo
Love that delivery truck, Susie! Years ago, I lived in a small town that had grocery delivery. Very handy for me, too, as I had to car at that point. xo Nellie

ReplyDeleteIt is so dry here that the ground crunches when you walk on it.
What a nice slice of your life blog today Susie. Hope your day is great!
ReplyDeleteThe truck is cute as can be. Great to receive the firewood; however, I know that was hard work.
ReplyDeleteThe truck is great, I love those white walled tyres.
ReplyDeleteI love that neat truck, too! It's a good time to get the firewood ready for winter! It will be here before we know it! Sweet hugs!
