We had a beautiful and quiet weekend around here. The skies could not have been any prettier. It was plenty warm, not sweltering at least. We had no where to go or to be, so it was calm..
I did go to the cemetery, and clean off some family graves. I put some new flowers on them. Peaceful.
Ted did mow yesterday morning. I have done chores to be caught up for these next few days. This will be a busy week starting tomorrow. I have my dental implant tomorrow. Liz and her husband will be here Thursday for a visit. Then Friday, I am meeting up with my daughter Angie. We will spend the day at the Pork Festival, looking at all the booths. Eating some junk stuff...taco in a bag, cinnamon rolls. We always looked forward to the art tent. There was an article in the paper saying , no art tent this year. I am disappointed. It has been wonderful seeing how very talented the children of our community are. For those of you who returned to work today, bless you. xo
The weather here was lovely the last few days.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the dental implant.
The pork festival sounds good.
Sounds like the perfect weekend! The pork festival sounds delicious! We LOVE our bacon! Haha!
ReplyDeleteYou have big blue and pretty skies.Love the willow tree.
ReplyDeletePraying for you for tomorrow. Nothing more stressful than that. Praying peace for you as you go through it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a busy time planned. ;) Hope you have fun after the implant is done. Your photos are wonderful. After a couple of weeks of clear blue skies, the clouds are a welcome sight. We had them yesterday, too, but not one in sight this morning. It did get down in the 50s last night, so this morning is so nice. Have a good day!
Wow, I would love to go to a Pork Festival!! Sounds like lots of fun!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, your newest follower! Vicki
Sounds like you got a lot done and it sounds like you are going to have a busy week. Hope your dental implant goes smoothly and doesn't cause you any discomfort so that you can enjoy those foods you mentioned. Have fun at the Pork Festival. It is too bad they did away with the art tent. Have a great day, Susie- xo Diana
