Blue Skies....

Oh yes, you know it, this is my favorite shade of blue.  It has been very cold around here but so pretty at times.  After today, it will be 41 more days till spring.  It has been a mild winter here so far. But I am burned out on it.
This is a great view of fields across the road. Snow can make things look very pretty.  Today the sun is shining and it is to be 38, maybe 40 degrees . Some of this snow is going to melt.  Our friends on  the  east coast are to have more snow....now I know they have to be very tired of it. It's hard to find places to throw the snow if you can shovel it.
I am going to get out of this house today. Need to see family and friends. Take care everyone. Let's be safe. XO

  1. Snow...we are sick of it here too, at least this winter we did not get nearly as much as we did last year. In fact we are below our average for this time of year. No matter where we live we get spring fever. As your photos prove, it sure is pretty tho!!!

    1. Linda, I guess I am just kind of whining...because truly this has been a rather mild winter. I think I am tired of being an ant and I would love to be a grasshopper for a change. Know what I mean. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  2. You still have snow! How pretty it must look across those fields. It is supposed to rain here all weekend off and on, and we could sure use the rain. Today sounds like a good day to see family and friends.

    Have a fun weekend, Susie.

    1. Sheri, Today at 2 o'clock I went to town and it was 48 degrees !!! Well that's like springtime. So the snow is melting and the yards are full of water, because the ground is still frozen. This is a dangerous time for us to get rain...could lead to flooding. I hope you do not get too much rain at once. I was thinking if you called a local gardening center, they will tell you when the best time to plant roses in your area. I think it would be beautiful to have a whole row of rose bushes ...that wonderful fragrance, to breathe in on a summer day. Blessings, Love you girl,Susie
