The Weekend.....

This is my hazelnut cappuccino and two delicious chocolates .  The chocolates are from Lynne at Dreams on 34th Street.  Thank you Lynne.
This is the bouquet of flowers from Teddy. It was a mixture of many different kinds. Bright and pretty.
Ted gave me the sweetest card. This was a total surprise , because we never do any thing but go to lunch for Valentine's day. Flowers and a card !!
Today the sun is up and it's still very cold. But at least it's not snow.
You can see the skies are clear. I know we are lucky.  Praying for the east coast, to keep their power and find a place for all the snow.
This will be a nice day. Half of February is over. Just getting closer to spring.:):) If the wind lets up later this week, I am going to be cutting down all the mums from last year. Clearing out the flowerbeds if I can.  Try to get a head start on  gardening .
Today, I have to fill the bird feeders and put out some suet cakes ....my birds probably think I have put them on a diet. I will dice some apples and oranges for them also.
Enjoy this day and be safe. XO

  9. Susie, love the pink cup! Your hubby was so sweet to give you the beautiful flowers. Hope it warms up for you! It's been so warm here that I have gotten out into the garden 3 times. Still a lot more to do though. We really need more snow or we'll be in trouble come July!
    hugs,

    1. Jann, Does your water supplies relate to the amount of snow you receive?? I know it works with the vegetation on the mountains. I hope you get a bit more before spring then. When we were in SLC, I thought the water there was awesome. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  10. Love that Teddy Bear came through this year with something special for you. Love the Horton pics too. We are getting lucky with this last batch of snow going through. We are just far enough north to miss it! I am so ready for spring, but its going to have to warm up a whole lot more before I get out and start on the beds. Have a good Monday.

  11. That pink tea cup is darling, Susie. How nice of Ted to give you a card. My husband and son put up shelves and cabinets in the garage that were much needed. I've been wanting that for awhile. And we had a nice lunch at an Italian restaurant. It looks like spring will be coming your way, Susie. That's so nice that you take care of the birds. I have been seeing more of them around here now that it's getting warmer.

    love, ~Sheri
