Surprise ! ! ! ...

Yesterday , in the mail, I received the book I won from Kris' (JunkChicCottage)give away. It was sent directly to me from Nana Diana, who wrote the book. She also wrote the book on , "how to gently torment your hero and get by with it" due out some time, I am sure.:):)  Diana signed it personally for me.  That makes this book more valuable.  I am planning on reading it this weekend .
Yesterday, the robins hatched, amazing. There's one more egg, making three in all. I thought there was a gap between the first two eggs and the third...never knew that could happen. I sure hope these tiny fellows make it.
I am starting to feel better. Never got through to my doctor yet.  Nothing new on her answering machine either.   I am beginning to feel just like a number. LOL.  But I am getting better. More liquids.  You do know that a chocolate shake is liquid. LOL. Just kidding.  Can't remember the last time I ever had a chocolate shake.  :)
Today is to be sunny and pretty. Ted and I have a bit of running to do, so I better get my chores finished. Wishing all of you a sweet day. XO

    1. Missy, Oh no , I was just making a joke about Diana writing a book about her husband and how she teases him. :):) I am like, not much into reading since I retired...But I will read this, because it's about Diana. She is funny, I love to read what she posts about her grandkids. Blessings for a wonderful day. xoxo,Susie

Glad you are feeling better. We prayed for your family in church on Sunday. I was told to tell you that we all care.

Love seeing that nest with the little birdies. I know you will enjoy seeing them grow.

  9. Munir, I was so happy the eggs hatched. There ended up being three in this nest. I have never known that a bird could lay eggs with a time gap between them. I need to read up on that. Thank you honey, I do feel better today. The tickle in my chest is gone and so is the terrible headache. That was what knocked me out. I hope you are doing well and getting to enjoy some of this good weather. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Boston Boy, The robin built that nest in the front window ....so when I saw the mom fly off I hurried over and got that shot. I told my husband I am not letting the birds build their nests there anymore...it's too stressful for me. LOL. We have put off power washing the porch so as not to scare them. I am holding off on reading Diana's book...so as not to be disturbed.:) You know in a different way than I am . LOL. Hope your return to work patterns goes smoothly. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  13. Congrats on winning the book. We had some little robin eggs in a nest we were watching and the little babies hatched. I went up to take a progress picture one day and the nest was on the ground and the babies gone. We think a raccoon or a cat got them. So sad.

    1. Cindy, You have been on my mind. I am not crazy about the birds building nests in the window sills. We put off washing the porch to not scare them. The rabbit around here ate my proven winners I bought at Horton's . I am about ready to just put fake flowers out. LOL. Take care Cindy. xoxo,Susie
