The Sweetest Part Of My 4th.....

Look at our adorable  Layla Rose. She is all decked out for the 4th of July.
Here are her sweet parents, Brock and Emily.  This girl is a like  a natural mommy.
I loved Layla's outfit. She was the best baby. Tried so hard to talk. I think she is getting a tooth. She is 4 months old now. She gets a bit of cereal in her bottle now. But she is basically breast fed. It must be agreeing with her, look at those cheeks.
Not everyone came today. They may have had just their own families over to their own houses. We sure had plenty of food, the weather was perfect...70's. The sky is clear. Even now, so fireworks tonight will be fine. I never go watch them any more.
Hope all of you had a  wonderful day. XO

  7. Now THAT'S as sweet a 4th of July baby as I have ever seen!! Love it when the parents get all excited about the holidays and dress even their babies up!!
We had the best time tonight at Amber's! Mike grilled out big time and the kids were all stoked for going to see fireworks! Tonight was their first ones! We parked at a gas station parking lot and set our chairs up at the edge of a field. We had an awesome view of five different events - with a really great view of one that was closer than the others. Easy peasy and no traffic! I loved it!!

  8. Layla is sooo cute! What a doll. If I were there I would have had to hold her too. Pretty soon she'll be talking up a storm. I saw fireworks but since my neighbor across the street was setting them off I just stood in my front door and watched them. No traffic. I didn't have to travel anywhere! LOL. Glad you had a good day.

    1. Missy, I do not want to hear all the fireworks. I think we need to ban some of them. Two people died from them in our state. They caused fires in some places. Too scary. Pets hate them . xoxo,Susie

I don't enjoy fireworks all that much. The noise scares my kitties and me, too. They are pretty to see, but I didn't watch them this year.

Both days were sunny and not too hot. Now there rain coming and going...floods south of us. I am ready for a rain every two weeks not everyday. LOL. take care and have some fun, xoxo,Susie
