Emma and her father played "When The Saints Go Marching In" at her recital. Her father took lessons for years growing up. They did very well.I hope Emma wants to stick with her lessons, she seems to enjoy playing so much. It is fun to listen to her just playing. She does not pound the keys, thank goodness. xo
Well done to Emma. I wish I could play the piano.

Ahhhh, way to go Emma. I hope she does stick with it. I was made to take organ lessons. My mother bought one and I was the one who had to take lessons. Hated it.....not sure why I was the choosen one.
ReplyDeleteThis brings back memories of when I played in recitals, then of attending the recitals for our daughters. What a special time!
ReplyDeleteOh- that is such a wonderful thing for a girl to learn to do. 3 of my 4 kids are musical..and it always brought such a sweet spirit to the house when they played. xo Diana
