My mom's best friend makes these handy kitchen towels. I know everyone has them.
Today at the bazaar, I bought each of my daughters one in memory of my mom. My mom used to give the granddaughters kitchen towels for a gift. So this is perfect.
I tried to get some that would coordinate with the girls' kitchen colors, or their likes.
We came across the soap lady at the bazaar. She has set-up at the farmer's market next to us before. I have a bunch of handmade soaps....but she is a sweet young lady, and we like to help others. Maybe these will become gifts.:):) I forgot to take any photos at the bazaar. I can tell you there was a lot of doll clothes, knitted and crocheted items. Some craft things, baked goods too. Wishing everyone a wonderful day. xo
I love these bazaars, we haven't had any yet but all the nearby churches start right after Thanksgiving. Those towels are too cute! I love homemade things! :)ReplyDelete
I have similar kitchen towels, that a friend made, I think they are knitted to hold onto a stove handle, I love them.ReplyDelete
Christmas bazaars are so much fun !
I have got to get out to a bazaar! Missed one last Saturday. They're holding them earlier each year I think. Pretty little towels, so cheery.ReplyDelete
I love the Christmas bazaars! Those kitchen towels are so pretty!!ReplyDelete
Pretty towels, I used to make them, still have a few hanging around the house. Used to go to those bazaars...they make some good lunches too!!!ReplyDelete
What a fun thing to do to still include your mom in the fun of giving the kitchen towels to the girls. I hope you found some sweet soaps, too. They would make wonderful gifts. Cold and blowing here now and dropping. Wind chill below zero by morning. BRRRRRRReplyDelete
Was this a 4-H bazaar? I've not heard of one of those around here. If your daughters follow your blog, now they know a gift they will be receiving.:-) xo NellieReplyDelete
Nellie, they will know...cause I have been doing this since my mom passed. xo,susieDelete

Handmade is the BEST! How sweet of you to keep your mother's tradition.ReplyDelete

Those fridge towels are so cute. My mother used to make these too. I've had so many through the years but I don't even have one now. Thank you for popping in to see meReplyDelete
Be a sweetie,
Oh, I love going to one that has all hand made items like this. I know you had fun and you're always so thoughtful to think of others. The towels will be special to your girls. Sweet hugs my friend!ReplyDelete
How nice that you bought each of your daughter's one of these kitchen towels in memory of your mom. I like the tea cups one. It's sweet. You are so close to your daughters, aren't you?
