This is a shot from the dining room window , as the clouds are going northeast. The sun is out. We had a couple hours in the basement. The winds were fierce at times. The wind actually howled all night after the storm front was through our state. We were blessed. But the town of Kokomo has damage.
After the storms went through, I saw this faint rainbow. You may be able to see it just at the top of the pine trees. I haven't heard much news yet this morning. I know that my twins homes were without power yesterday afternoon. I pray for those in need this morning. Please be safe. xo
I was just thinking about you Susie. I know that the storms hit near Kokomo which is not too far from Hortons (right?) I'm so glad you are safe.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are ok and I'm praying for all those that are suffering from the bad storms. The rainbow is beautiful. I hope you have a good day today...with some nice sunshine! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo much damage from those horrible tornadoes. Glad to hear you are safe, glad to hear our daughter and family are safe. So much for so many to clean up now, and at such a busy time of year.
ReplyDeletevery scary weather, Im glad you are all OK, keep safe!
ReplyDeleteOur friend, Beth, had damage to her home in Pekin, Illinois. It's good to have a basement during times like those storms! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteThe sun was shining bright, but the local news showed what downtown St Louis looked like (the film made the NBC national news) so I yelled at Mr., packed up my jewelry and lap top to head to the basement. We never got a thing..it all started up just east of us. 2 people were killed just 40 miles away. I prayed we would stay safe. I just can not imagine...I was in a tornado in Southern IL that killed 13 people, I will never forget seeing it on the ground. Glad you are all ok
ReplyDeleteOh I've been thinking of you and wondering how you faired. I know it must have been devastating to everybody. I'm sending up prayers for everyone. God Bless you all. xo
