Have you ever made a drs.' appointment and develop another thing before you get there??? I was to go see the doctor this morning. I wanted to asked about my blood thinners. Been on them for 11 years. Last month the doctor(new) said to stop taking them...I did not stop. I thought what's one more month after 11 years , really. So I wanted to have a conversation about that. Plus my reflux meds maybe aren't working as well. Now my knee is bothering me.. A couple years ago, I was walking up a slippery incline and slipped...it hurt then. But has come and gone since then. When I go up and down the stairs to do laundry , it will hurt a bit. Now it is lasting longer. Feels like a tendon not the joint.
As I was getting ready to go to see the dr. this morning...her office called and said Dr. was sick. :):) What??? So I will be going later this week. LOL. Felt like a reprieve .
This is the cute T-shirt I won from the lovely Japolina. She is a very fashionable mommy in Miami.
Thank you Japolina. I am wearing another shirt under it.
Wishing everyone a good day. Let's remember all those who need a prayer today. XO

ReplyDeleteWarm??? I need a bikini, but first I need a body lift. LOL. I think this little t-shirt is cute for relaxing in. xoxo,Susie
DeleteDoctors are not supposed to be sick, are they? That is a long time to be on blood thinners! Hope you find some answers you need. I no longer take stairs due to my knees. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNellie, This is a long time...that;s why I don't want to just stop...scared there may be side effects. I think I need to be on Ascripton or a baby aspirian. I hate my knee hurting. Bummer. My laundry is in the basement. xoxo,Susie
DeleteCute t-shirt. I do hope you get some answers to your health problems.
ReplyDeleteMary Alice
Thank you. I will keep trying to get answers that make sense. Hope your day is sweet. xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see a picture of you on here today, you look lovely. I guess our blog friends like to see us once in awhile, right? Sorry you had to wait to go to the doctor, that's no fun. Yes, Japolina is such a unique and special blog friend, isn't she?
love,
~Sheri
Thank you Sheri, You are kind. I like blogging with Japolina. She is so into fashion and funny at times. I like to hear about how sweet her husband treats her. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI like that shirt, Mom.
ReplyDeleteHi Honey, Japolina thought all you girls might try to talk me out of this t-shirt LOL. Hope you are getting your dress finished, well the belt. I love you sweetheart, mommy
DeleteNow there you are all dressed up with no place to go
ReplyDeleteLOL...hey I was already over my daughters. :):) Some times we just need a sweet "T". :):) xox,Susie
DeleteYou look so cute! I just had something similar with my neurosurgeon. I went to talk about my spine, but decided to mention my shoulder. My doctor said my spine seemed fine -- hurray! -- but got me into physical therapy for my shoulder right away.
ReplyDeleteCarol, That sounds like you got good results...no surgeries is great. You know with the foot injury you had....everything can get out of line and hurt. Wishing you good recovery for your shoulder.xoxo,Susie
DeleteCute shirt. I hate going to the Dr.s...Guess they get sick too.
ReplyDeleteMissy, I never like going, but try to take care of myself and be healthy. I think this is the first time I have had a dr. be sick. I know they are just human too. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI love the shirt...I don't think I've seen a picture of you before, you're so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get some answers, maybe some tests to find out if you have arthritis around the knee. That turns up a lot around old injuries. I have a physical every October and I have a list of things to talk with the doc about!
Jane xx
Blondie, you are my favorite...that is what I always tell my daughters if one give me a compliment. LOL. I have arthritis in my ankles. My knee feels like it is a bit swollen. I wish I were not on any meds. I just hate taking pills. I take reflux meds, Blood thinners (which my be taken away) and cholesterol meds. Old lady stuff. isn't it? Just worked and played too hard I guess. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI LOVED seeing you in your shirt!!! We need more pics of YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteI feel you about doctor visits. LD went to his cadrio doc today and will be needing tests this week.
Age is a challenge. The best we can hope for is to do it as gracefully as possible. Taking care of yourself NOW will help in the future. There is so much they can do in the medical field these days!
You look like a lady I know, besides you of course. I have a couple of prescriptions I have to take morning and night. I wish I didn't have too. Sun, surf and sand. It sure sounds appealing.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know what you mean. I always have a laundry list of things to talk to the doctor about.
ReplyDeleteCute T-shirt! Congrats on winning it.
It seems like there's always something, isn't there! Glad you saw it as a reprieve when your appointment was cancelled. Who said doctors could get sick?? LOL
