Don't you love getting flowers for your birthday or another occasion?? This is a sweet bouquet that was made at the market. I loved this very unusual curly looking flower.
My sister got this for her birthday. It was from her daughter. I guess Barbie likes Reese's cups. :):) Sure makes for a different bouquet. Give me ideas of future groupings.
I know you would never expect this from me....the one who loves sunshine....but I am hoping we can have some rain soon. Our lawn is suffering. It's cloudy right now, so I am hoping. Wishing all of you a nice day with family or friends or even a good book. XO
The flowers are so pretty and looks like she got enough candy to share....maybe that was the idea! We're having a rainy day today and it's nice to have a relaxing day inside! Hope you get some soon too! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteI like gentle rains. We sure could use ne around here. I think my sister shared the candy bouquet with her family.:) xoxo,Susie
DeleteBeautiful flowers!
ReplyDeleteHi Sylvia, Hope you are doing well. I truly love about any kind of flower. But for me to raise one it has to be a hardy type. LOL. Blessings for a great day. xoxo,Susie
DeleteRain is coming tomorrow. that flower is a dahlia. Remember the county park near me? It has a dahlia garden. I would love to grow some but takes too much work.
ReplyDeleteKathy, The next time I come up there, you have to take me to that garden . I won't be raising any either, if it takes lots of work. I am having a hard time growing what I have .LOL. Love you, mommy
DeleteI love your flower picks, Carlene...and all of your cute garden decor!

Hi Laura, I think you have the wrong blog. but thanks for visiting. Hope your day is great, xoxo,Susie
DeleteLove the flowers and candy! We rec'd an inch of rain yesterday and we're hoping for more. Hope you have some nice rain too.
ReplyDeleteI am beginning to wonder if we will ever get any rain. The sun came out today and it got plenty warm. I would like some rain, just not too much at once. LOL. I water the containers and a bit of beds here and there. But I do not waste water on the lawn. Hate seeing it so crunchy when we have the lawn man come. xoxo,Susie
DeleteOh! I love that curly flower! It looks like a zinnia to me (or Old Maid).
ReplyDeleteMy sister loved Reese's Cups when we were growing up, but I didn't like them!
HA! Maybe that's why SHE liked them, she knew I wouldn't eat them up! LOL!
Kay, That's funny about your sister. Hope you are doing well.xoxo,Susie
DeleteIt's quite the unusual flower, sweet...
ReplyDeleteWe had two and a half inches of rain last night, it was a welcomed sight !
Hopefully it will be moving your way.
Hope you are having a lovely weekend dear friend.
~Jo
Jo, It rained just bit thru the night. Hopefully even to help the lawn. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI love flowers for any reason. We are in need of rain as well. I hope we both get some soon. Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteMissy, It did rain a little in the night. I just hope it was enough to help the lawn. :) I may buy myself some flowers soon. xoxo,Susie
DeleteLove the flowers. We got a downpour and then it was over! So ready for some steady rain!
ReplyDeleteOh I know what you mean...we need at least an inch of rain a week. Hope we all get enough to keep our flowers and lawns looking nice. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe got a lot of rain last week. I loved it, but felt sorry for those areas that had flooding. The arrangement is so pretty!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Jann, Not so long ago, it rained over 4inch ina town west of here...flooded parking lots and streets. We just got a sprinkle. But it rained here last night and I am hoping for the best. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe need rain so badly. It rained all through the night on day last week, but the soil is so dry, and there are penalties for watering your yard, that the water barely penetrated the soil before evaporating.
ReplyDeleteI always pray for your state to get more rain...not so much that it causes slides. But enough to help the crops and trees. xoxo,Susie
DeleteThat curly flower is so unusual, how pretty. YUM Reese's, my favorite! I hope your lawn does better because every time I see it it's so green and beautiful. It's supposed to be a little bit cooler today. I'm glad about that.
ReplyDeletelove,
~Sheri
What a fun idea for a bouquet! Reece's is my very favorite candy! That curly blossom is so pretty, I wonder what it is?
