Getting A Bouquet....

Don't you love getting flowers for your birthday or another occasion?? This is a sweet bouquet that was made at the market. I loved this very unusual curly looking flower.
My sister got this  for her birthday. It was from her daughter. I guess Barbie likes Reese's cups. :):)  Sure makes for a different bouquet.  Give me ideas of future groupings.
I know you would never expect this from me....the one who loves sunshine....but I am hoping we can have some rain soon. Our lawn is suffering. It's cloudy right now, so I am hoping.  Wishing all of you a nice day with family or friends or even a good book. XO

    1. Hi Sylvia, Hope you are doing well. I truly love about any kind of flower. But for me to raise one it has to be a hardy type. LOL. Blessings for a great day. xoxo,Susie

    1. I am beginning to wonder if we will ever get any rain. The sun came out today and it got plenty warm. I would like some rain, just not too much at once. LOL. I water the containers and a bit of beds here and there. But I do not waste water on the lawn. Hate seeing it so crunchy when we have the lawn man come. xoxo,Susie

  6. Oh! I love that curly flower! It looks like a zinnia to me (or Old Maid).
My sister loved Reese's Cups when we were growing up, but I didn't like them!
HA! Maybe that's why SHE liked them, she knew I wouldn't eat them up! LOL!

  10. We got a lot of rain last week. I loved it, but felt sorry for those areas that had flooding. The arrangement is so pretty!

    1. Jann, Not so long ago, it rained over 4inch ina town west of here...flooded parking lots and streets. We just got a sprinkle. But it rained here last night and I am hoping for the best. xoxo,Susie

  11. We need rain so badly. It rained all through the night on day last week, but the soil is so dry, and there are penalties for watering your yard, that the water barely penetrated the soil before evaporating.

    1. I always pray for your state to get more rain...not so much that it causes slides. But enough to help the crops and trees. xoxo,Susie

  12. That curly flower is so unusual, how pretty. YUM Reese's, my favorite! I hope your lawn does better because every time I see it it's so green and beautiful. It's supposed to be a little bit cooler today. I'm glad about that.

    love,
