This is the sun on Thursday, getting close to sunset. A bit of a hazy day.
Here's the bean field across the road. Every thing is growing well . It's pretty when every thing is green. When the wind blows through beans it looks like green waves.
This is last night's sunset. So as you can see there's not much going on around here this weekend. Just peaceful. You can bird watch and see butterflies for entertainment. I have weeded flowerbeds. Our yard trash pile is getting bigger. Ted mowed on Thursday. Then we have done daily chores.
Hope all of you have had a relaxing or fun weekend. XO
Beautiful pics this a.m., Susie.
ReplyDeleteWe've had a quiet weekend; working inside. Hoping for rain today.
God bless your Sunday.
We could use 1/2 inch of rain also. So hard to believe about 40 miles to the west it rained 5 inches in one afternnon and we got nothing. Bless your Sunday too. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI find so much beauty in a bean or corn field. Relaxing weekends are the best!
ReplyDeleteAnn, The farmers' market was hopping with corn sales. :) It's been good to rest since the last two weekends, I have had grandkids here. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe saw lots of crops on the trip to NC. Sometimes it's hard to tell what they are but I know we saw beans and soybeans, too. We're happy to be in the mountains now for the rest of the summer! Enjoy your day my friend! Sweet hugs! (and you've made me want to go to Hobby Lobby, too! lol)
ReplyDeleteDiane, I know you are hiking in the mountains.:):) Get some fun photos. Blessings to you and your hubby, xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteKris
Hi Kris, Yes, it's really quiet at times. But there are times , I will sit on the porch writing letters and listening to my Carpenters' cd. I love the old music. :) Hope your Sunday is wonderful, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSuch a tranquil and serene setting, my friend. Enjoy. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteLaura, There are times I love the quiet...then there are times the quiet makes me miss all my family. I try to make the most of every day. So I will do something, a chore, or walk around the yard and take pictures. Hope you have agreat Sunday. xoxo,Susie

DeleteBeautiful sun sets...and those beans sure bring back lots of memories. Growing up on a farm and hoeing weeds..(seems to be a thing of the past now, with all the weed killers etc.) hope you're having a good day!
ReplyDeleteGert, This big fields get sprayed by machines or crop dusters. But when I am in Amish country up north, they will be in the huge gardens hoeing and taking very good care of their plots. xoxo,Susie
