This is a sweet little patio area in town. It's near the library. I will try to get a better photo this weekend. There's old frames attached to the wall near the back door. There's a burlap swag draped over the door. On the gate is a license plate from California , it's paint turquoise. I have always liked this old house, I like it even more now.:):) There's also some turquoise accents at the front of the house. I used to know the owners many years ago. No clue if the new owner is their daughter or not. Enjoy this day, looks like it may rain here. I am so ready for a peaceful week. Last week was stressful in many ways. So I prayed a lot.:):)
I love houses that decorate the OUTside walls!! I know I decorate mine! Looking forward to more pics of this one. I drove past a little house in Fort Worth that was the SWEETEST thing!!! All decked out in all manner of interesting things. Neat and tidy but OH so interesting! Lots of bird houses. I think this lady must have owned an antique shop - or bought one out. This fall I intend to drive over there and ask if I can take pictures! When I drove by once I noticed a string of fairy lights inside the back window. I bet the lady who lives there is a kindred spirit!!ReplyDelete
Oh Linda (above)... Do drive over there and ask to take pics. Faerie Lights and all, betcha' you will find a kindred spirit.ReplyDelete
Happy New Moon!
That sounds like such a fun place to visit. Always like the license plates. And for some reason, I've become very fond of turquoise, even though in the 60s someone I knew put in turquoise fixtures in their bathroom. Not sure I want that much turquoise, and I prefer a more pale hue. Thank you for stopping in and leaving a comment. Glad you enjoyed Wisconsin's wildflowers. :-)ReplyDelete
Sorry Susie! Using your comments, to converse with blogging pals. -giggles- Awww, I know you don't mind.ReplyDelete
Happy New Moon!
Oh Susie, wouldn't it be nice, if you could knock on that door or that sweet little place, and meet the present owners? :-)ReplyDelete
My but I am full of ideas, for bloggers to step outside of their comfort zones, am I not?!? What about myself?
Have I ever knocked on the door of that house with the lovely porch decorations, and told them that it is so pretty? NO! Bahh-humbug "Auntie"! With telling others to knock on doors.
Happy New Moon!
It looks like the owners are enjoying their house. Sending hugs your way, Susie, for a simpler week. We have actually seen sun here today! xo NellieReplyDelete
We all enjoy the family time and holidays but in some ways it is nice to get back into the ole routine of home!ReplyDelete
Leave a little note and tell the owner we all like her house decorations. Hope things will be good for you this week and your prayers will all be thank-yous.ReplyDelete
Cute place! Hope you have a good afternoon.ReplyDelete
Love that patio area and I love the idea of painting a license plate all one color!ReplyDelete
Hope you have a less stressful week and will keep you in my prayers for some calm this week. ;)
How cute! I see so many cute ideas for decorating outside here in Florida but it's hard to get good photos. I hope you have a good week my friend...free from stress! Hugs!ReplyDelete
What a charming little house, and I love the turquoise accents. I went downtown today to make some copies, and I always like to look at the houses in that area because they are so charming.ReplyDelete
It has been very hot here lately. I hope your week is a better one than last, Susie.
