Shuffleboard Anyone....
We have some shuffleboard courts at the park. I have not seen anyone playing it for a few years now. There's a small shed near by that holds all the gear for playing. I did not look to see if it was open. Years ago, it would never be locked and anyone could get the equipment out. Everyone who played put the stuff back in the shed and never would anyone think of abusing it. We have dealt with vandals in our park for a few years. There may be cameras placed here soon to deter that problem. I can only remember playing shuffleboard at church camp.I thought it was great fun. Now I am sitting here wondering if my g.kids would even know what shuffleboard is. :):):) Enjoy this June day. It's wonderful here this morning.

I don't remember this so I'm no help. As far as your other post on wild game and beans and potatoes, I know plenty. My kids now deny they ate that stuff (even frog legs) but eat they did and it was all fried! I love remembering stuff like that altho I am thankful for the food we now have.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha...I remember when my parents lived in Florida and they had shuffleboard at their condo. Hard to believe that 50 years ago...whoa!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to play shuffleboard but if I ever get to live in Florida, I want to learn.
ReplyDeleteI haven't thought about shuffleboard in years! It was always such fun, too!

Now I have to go and look up shuffleboard! It's a pity that things have to be locked up these days.
