This is a photo I took on Friday, while in town. The leaves are starting to change. It is raining again . It rained on and off yesterday, about all day. I can see that our lawn is greening again, oh happy day. The man that treated the lawn ,this past week, said to water it if we didn't get rain. I am so happy it rained.
I did paint "welcome friends " on my two little pumpkins, didn't take a photo, I'll take one later. I did get around to shredding old faded worthless photos. Actually I could have just thrown them in the trash. Do you ever find old pictures you have taken and wonder "why"? I had pictures from the Kruse auto auctions. More car pictures from car shows and antique car meets. Why? Old faded blurry photos of people you can't even remember. Every time I sort and thin anything , I always feel much better.
Hope all of you are having a good day.xo
i know what you mean about the photos but i can never seem to get rid of any of them. i even have some of people i don't even like! lol

I got rid of a lot of old photos recently. I was looking at them, and couldn't remember the names of half the people in them, so wondered what was the point in saving them.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty photo. I am happy you got the rain. Your grass should do well now. Enjoy the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the trees is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI weeded my pictures out a few years ago and put what I wanted on the computer and then onto dvds.
It looks beautiful there. We're bright and sunny today but I planned a day inside and I'm working on sewing a pumpkin...again! lol It's hard for me to get rid of any old photos. But I sure had a time going through all of my Dad's years ago. I tried to pass on many of them to friends and family. Enjoy your day my friend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture. Yes I have plenty of those old faded pictures that need to be thrown out. The rain is coming in here now, suppose to get cooler next week . I am sending out your book tomorrow and I appreciate you so much. I hope you enjoy my echoes. Thanks again, hugs, xo
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to get rid of old photos. Even if they aren't the best. I have really old photos from the late 1800s of my family. I guess it's in my blood. Ha, ha. Fortunately having digital pictures is a great space saver.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful picture of the trees starting to turn. They haven't even begun around here.
Thank you for visiting me the other day...don't you just love this time of year...our trees are stunning here. So much joy everywhere one looks. Happy new week to you.
ReplyDeleteMy husband insists on keeping every single photo, even blurry ones. I need to cull through them one day when he's not looking!
