Some of my photos from Horton's. Isn't this old windmill head adorable, on the mantle, with pumpkins and candles. Makes me want to go back to Amish Acres and get into that junk pile and get those windmill blades out for decorations. Who would have thought.....proving you can use anything in your decor.
I loved this wagon and old buckets. Think of the decorating you could do with all of this. You could use it in the Spring with loads of flowers, or Christmas time with brightly wrapped gift boxes.
This display had everything. So cute. Perfect autumn colors. I like the tray with acorns on it. Old clocks are catching my eye. I have noticed them more and more. May be tempted to buy some.:):)
This shelf has some very pretty cloth pumpkins and the jack-o-lanterns are actually tags. Cute idea. More clocks !! I am enjoying visiting so many blog with beautiful fall decorations. So many clever talented people, in blogland. Have some fun today. xo
Horton's just has amazing decor on display! It is arranged just right to convince shoppers to buy!:-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this October morning! xo Nellie
I am really enjoying the photos from Horton's Susie!
ReplyDeleteSuch nice things. Good thing I don't live nearby or I would be tempted to ruin my budget!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Susie, The pictures of Horton's are wonderful. Your train makes me think of the train ride we took on one of our trips to Branson. It was a dinner ride where they actually served you dinner. You met new people each time. The fall colors were so pretty. I loved your little owl. He is so cute and made me think of the custom order I just finished. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend
ReplyDeleteThat little cart would be so much fun for decorating although I have no space for it.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about what we decorate with. Who would have thought to use windmill blades 10 years ago. My grandfather would laugh to see his antique bottle capper for his homemade beer sitting on a table in my dining room.
Horton's really is an interesting place, I wish I could look there for real! I agree with you about the little wagon, the possibilities are endless.
ReplyDeleteThey do share some wonderful ideas...thanks for sharing with us!
ReplyDeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteI loved coming down your way to Horton's and the market last week end. You are so lucky to live close to that sweet hardware fun store.
Kris
I love that old wagon, too. And it's nice to have shelves for small items. I'm getting so many ideas for decorating and now I'm in a sewing mood, too! What to do? Who will buy groceries this week? heehee! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteLove this place you visit. I would have to take my sleeping bag, cuz I wouldn't want to leave there. Love the little cart (had those in the antique mall) but its those buckets. Haven't seen anything like that. Do you know what they were for? We got rain today so no decor going up here.
ReplyDeleteEverything is cute as can be. My sil has a collection of clocks all diff ages and it is really pretty!
