It's awful quiet here this morning. I miss Emma already. She is off on a trip with her parents for the rest of her Spring break.
I want to thank everyone for their nice comments on Emma's crafting. I like when she is making something how she will say, "oh mom's going to love this." She has people in mind when she is crafting things.
Today is a rainy day, to rain all day. I will be doing laundry and cleaning, you know I had that two days' break from chores. I am beginning to hate housework. Where is the door to door maid service? LOL
Blessings to all of you out there. Hope you have a great day. xo
I love that flyer we receive in the mail at times that says, "The wrong people are cleaning your house!" I'm waiting for the "right people" to arrive.:-) xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNellie, that is funny. I always tell Ted I thought when I retired I would have a maid...not become one. xo,Susie
DeleteAww... I know you miss Emma. But she'll be back. She has such a sweet heart making things for people. Enjoy your rainy day. At least it's not snow! We are having bright sun here. It's a beautiful day and I am going to spend it at work. :-( Well, at least I have a job to go to. Many of my friends are out of work.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a pretty day. At your work you can see the sun through the windows, hopefully. xoxo,Susie
DeleteIt is raining here today too Susie. I am sure you do miss Emma!
ReplyDeleteNo cleaning for me today!
Beth, I think you and Tete in Iowa have the same weather as Indiana most times. Hope your day was good. xo,Susie
DeleteIsn't rain better than snow girl??? Emma is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteYes, no more snow for me girl. Thank you for the compliment on Emma. xo,Susie
DeleteSo glad you had a wonderful visit...hard to say goodbye again. Rainy weather here, too...hope it melts the snow!
ReplyDeleteOur snow is melted and gone...hooray. xo,Susie
DeleteIt always feels so quiet after you've had company. I like getting things in order but it gets old, that's for sure. I hope we're going to get out for a hike this afternoon. I need to stretch my legs! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteThere's not much order when kids are about.LOL. But it's okay. I read once that you can always clean house once the kids are raised.xo,Susie
DeleteI know how you feel, Susie. Our Lulu is headed home today and I will miss her. She is great help with the little kids and has fun crafting things, too. I am so glad you had Emma for a little bit anyway! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI just knew that Lulu was a great girl, always helping and being kind. xo,Susie

ReplyDeleteIt is hard to see the g'children leave.
Especially since you and Emma had so much fun together!
I know I am lucky they live near me. My two oldest live in Florida and Utah. I really miss them. xo,Susie
DeleteI want to thank you for all your kind words on my blog. Sometimes I don't get many so they are greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteEmma is a cutie and she will be a dazzler when she grows up.
Your blog is a great blog, I do not know why you wouldn't get nice comments. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI would miss that little sweet face also, Emma is such a talented little girl, her peat pot crafts are special, I'd like to try those myself.
ReplyDeleteI used to be obsessed with housework, now I have more time on my hands, it doesn't seem as important....lol
~Jo
Well, I'm sure you do miss Emma. She does such a wonderful job crafting!
ReplyDeleteRaining, now snowing here...
Spring..where are you?
We had rain today and more tonight. I can hear it thunder every now and then. Its 10pm and I am heading off to bed now. Dr in the morning early. I am happy you got to spend some time with Emma...she is so cute. Have a good day doing housework- LOL. Do they have door to door maid service? They never come here!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about feeling like a maid. But, I'd have been fired a long time ago if I were trying to earn a wage with it. :)
ReplyDeleteEmma is such a cutie. I am with you on the housework. I really hate it anymore. xo Laura
