It ain't spring either.....its' SNOW.....ding-dang if it isn't snowing this morning. Enough that the ground is covered. I will be sweeping the porch. Tomorrow is to be in the 60's. LOL Ted is saying out loud, "where is spring ?"
He is wanting to play some golf. There have been years where he's played golf into November, then start again in Jan. Not the past two winter/spring seasons. He'll have to wait a bit more.
I think my daughter will be on Spring break this coming week. We usually try to do something fun. Shopping then having lunch out. I am looking forward to having time with her. When we went to the play on the 16th, we really never had much time to visit. Angie has a great sense of humor and we always have good laughs together.
Hope all of you are enjoying your weekend. xo
Oh no! Not more snow! We have rainy today. Good day to stay indoors. I hope you and your daughter have a fun outing next week. God bless your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I just shoveled to the mailbox and around a bit. It's heavy and wet...so just pushing ...done now. Blessings, xo,Susie
DeleteWe savored 4 days of Spring...then back came the rain. I always say that the song "April Showers" was derived from the PacNWest. I am sorry about your lingering snow! I hope the arrival of April closes your Winter chapter, dear Susie!
ReplyDeletewithLove!
Praying you are safe from any flooding. Tomorrow is to be 60 degrees here...this snow will melt fast. Last week, we had snow on Tues. sunshine on Wed. Winds on Thurs. It's different every day. LOL xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh you poor little thing with all that snow. i am wishing you sunshine and lollypops!

Bee, this can't last, tomorrow is to be 60 degrees. :) It's just that it makes cleaning the flowerbeds a day later or so. xo,Susie
DeleteIf you can sweep the snow, you're lucky!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your daughter, Susie.
I know :):) I try to stay on top of snow...cause never know how deep it will get. Better to sweep every 1/2 hour or so, than strain because it's so deep. xox,Susie
DeleteWhat a great thing you did with the pot! Love it! Of course, birds are dear to my heart. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI made that peat pot at the Horton's Spring Market last year. That is where I got the idea for my granddaughter making some for her mom, sis, and friend. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOoooo, what a nice page, Susie! Thank you so, so much for visiting my page by way of Beth's today. We had a big group that were long time buddies in WindowsLive blogging and then moved to BlogSpot and Wordpress and continued to blog for years. Well, I stopped for all those reasons you saw and then came back yesterday. After I posted, I started cking on my friends, and omg, they were gone. No one other than 2 had posted in the last 2 yrs, and some longer. They either left for Face Book (which I don't have) or just plain quit. Broke my heart. Totally loved all those folks. Thank goodness Beth was still around and she'll fill me in. That was the sweetest of sweet things for her to by posting my page on hers. But Beth is like that, always. No one better. And so I thank you for dropping by and you can bet I'll be back here. I've tried to click "follow' 2 different places today and all I get are errors. I have no idea why. Will keep on trying. See you soon, Susie!
ReplyDeleteJenny, Thanks for your comment. I hope we get to visit back and forth for a long time.xo,Susie
DeleteThe sun has finally come out here this afternoon. No snow!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletemore snow??? This is some kind of sadistic joke right?!! Hope you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteJoanne, our snow melted before the afternoon was over. Yippee.xo,Susie
DeleteMy husband is missing his golf games, too. I hope this snow doesn't linger for you. Enjoy your time with your daughter. It's really great to have those times to spend together. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteThe American Legion Golf course where Ted has amembership...is still a mess from the fall tornadoes in Kokomo. I am not so sure they will be playing there this year..Lots of downed trees and the buildings were damaged. My daughter's break is the 7th...she says we will have a day together.xo,Susie
DeleteI hope it warms up this coming week so that you can BOTH get outside and do the things you want to do! Sweet hugs my friend!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is to be 60 degrees. oh yes. Flowerbed clearing will be this coming week.xox,Susie
DeleteIt is snowing here right now. I hope that you get to spend time with your daughter. Our spring break was last week but I didn't do anything. I only babysat one day and that was nice.Hoping spring comes soon.
ReplyDeleteDebby, My daughter just informed me that her break is the 7th thru 11th. My g.kids had their break last week. My daughter teaches 5th grade and her school's break is later.xo,Susie
DeleteIt seems "wrong" to have snow on Spring Break. Such a Bummer! Spring is so late this year.
ReplyDeleteOur big snow has melted, that fast.:) xo,Susie
DeleteNo Spring here either, Susie. I am so bummed. We still have a lot of snow on the ground. Hubby won't be able to play golf until maybe late April or even Mary before we are dry enough here. Most golf courses don't open here until May.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your daughter! I love a kid with a sense of humor and I am blessed with kids that all have fun together. xo Diana
Hi Susie, I feel your pain that it you got more snow! Will this winter EVER end??? It has been pouring here all day, and all I could think was, thank goodness it's not snow! Have a great weekend!
