Sunday. ...

The morning came with sunshine, then it became cloudy. Just a bit ago it was snowing...just a little , it's gone already. Whew...Don't even want to see it any more for a another 10 months.
Doing laundry and running the vacuum. Already dusted yesterday.  Always some things that can be done.  I have been thinking of golf season. Ready for Ted to stop making fires in the fireplace, which creates lots of dust. If he is golfing, he is making less saw dust in the shop, less to drag in.  I know I have my very own Morty, the man that makes dirt. You know that old guy on the Swiffer commercials.  Dang Morty get your clubs and get going !!!! LOL.

  1. I love the Swiffer commercials!
Since we got our new carpet, Mr D is Mr Vacuum. He's always on the prowl for removing dog hair. A 100 lb Chocolate Lab that's kept indoors sheds year 'round! We gave each other a Dyson for Christmas. He empties it after each use and says, " I can't believe how much that dogs sheds, you would think she would be bald!"
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Susie!

    1. LOL...it's not so much that I want him to play, as I want less to clean. He usually plays twice a week.....that's enough.xo, Susie

  9. Doesn't it seem like we always need to vacuum and dust! And don't get me started on the laundry pile which never seems to go away despite the fact that I am always doing laundry.

  10. We have another cold week ahead. Grrrr...

I was a golf widow in my younger years. I resented it then because I never had a free moment with 4 kids. Now I'm a fishing widow but I like to see him happy and I like my own time to do what I want. Funny, we get wiser about things. How about that?!

    1. That is exactly why twice a week is enough...if a man golfs all the time , then comes home hungry...I feel like a maid..I don't want that. ox,Susie

  11. I bet lots of wish their wives WANTED them to go play golf!!! I tell Louis Dean to go outside and play! Then I lock the bedroom screen door that goes to the back yard so he can't sneak in without me noticing and remind him of his shoes. When we were first married and I was working I got new carpet for the main rooms in the house. AND I paid for it on my own!! The very first week he tracked in fiberglass he was working with on repairing his truck fender. The footprint is in my hall.....which is the reason I have so many RUGS!! They cover a multitude of sins!!!

  13. To tell the truth, if my hubby wants to work a year or two beyond retirement, it will be okay with me! lol Otherwise, I can see him puttering around and being underfoot or wanting me to find something for him all the time. Or getting the house dirty by tracking in more than he already does. I know, I'm bad.
