Thankful Today...

I am thankful this morning. We did not get all the predicted snow that was headed our way. When it stopped snowing, it never did start back up. So we had about 6 inches and as the day went on that melted down a bit. It was very fluffy when I started clearing the drive, I take breaks. Well by the time I got to the end of the drive and the mailbox area, it was getting heavier because it was wetter.
The sun is shining at this moment....oh happy day for me. Time for a cup of coffee and the newspaper. Hoping  all of you have a great day with sunshine. xo

  8. Can you move this morning after all that shoveling? Said a special prayer just for you. Glad you didn't get more than that- after all the sleet we just got a dusting!

  9. We don't get seasons much in our part of California, but we watch the beach change daily. On Saturday, the waves were so huge they crossed the expanse of sand and were breaking on the windows of the ocean front houses. Yesterday was blustery and cold. This morning was gorgeous and sunny.

I am thankful for each day and what it brings.

    Enjoy your sunshine!

  12. Sunshine on a cold day and a cup of coffee always makes me feel better. I wish we had snow, but not quite like you have. My children were iced in today in Nashville. TN. Must have been bad for my son, a PA to not have clinic.

  13. This is a very mysterious and pretty picture, Susie. I love tree pictures because many of the trees are so old and beautiful.

    You finally got some sun......yaaaay!

    Love,
