Dancing On Her Birthday.....

Emma  went to a dance on her birthday yesterday. It was a little dance at school.....I do not know why. She wore her dress from her sister's bridal shower. She told me then she would never wear that dress again, so funny. This is Brock, me, Lizzy, and Emma the birthday girl is in front. Emma is 10.
She is my youngest grandchild.  Still young enough to be goofy at times .LOL I can see the changes in her though. She is growing up. My sweet crafting pal. Oh by the way she had crafts planned for her sleep over birthday party. Emma and her little friends were going to make glow in the dark, night shirts.
The years are flying by. Which , if I dwelled on that thought I would be crying all the time. So I can't go there.   Gloomy this morning and it has rained again. A promise of clearing skies soon.  Hope you have warm sunshine.xo

  4. My sweet niece who is more like my granddaughter is 11 now. She no longer runs to hug me when she sees me. So sad to me. Her eyes still light up and she waves, but I sure miss that outward expression of love.

  5. Susie,
I hope Emma had a good time at the dance. Happy Birthday Emma! Glow in the dark night shirts, how fun! I would love to see them. I just saw a bunny book that I used to read to the kids when they were little, and had to buy it. Aaahhh, so many sweet memories. I know what you mean, Susie, they grow up so fast.

    Happy weekend.

    love,

  10. She's adorable, and you are so right to enjoy every moment with her. Our grandchildren are very spread out...oldest 27 w/ 2 children, and the youngest 10 mo. But they fly away too soon for any of us.
