Pretty Trees....

This cute little house in town , on Main Street. It has two of the prettiest trees right now. I am sure when they were planted , the one planting them never dreamed they would be so big. They actually touch each other.
I am having problems loading my photos. I can get to the file, but once there, the lay-out looks different each time. I would love to see how well this all worked with a different carrier....know what I am saying. Slow service and flaky at best. That is how I would describe our carrier.
Raining here today. A slow gentle rain...the kind I like. I will do some household chores to be ready for the weekend. I do not like doing chores on the weekend. I know I am retired, but it's still nice to just play and relax on the weekend.  Wishing all of you a great day.  xo

    1. Missy, My lilacs are starting to bud, they are leafed out.The crabapple is starting to bloom , my weeping cherry and redbud seem to have slowed down. Those are the only blossoming bushes and trees I have . Oh the catalpa tree is always last to get it's blooms. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Suppose to clear up here this afternoon...but rain on and off I think for a few days. xoxo,Susie

    1. Linda, I don't mind a gentle rain ...just hate those downpours that flood things. I can't figure out if I am overly anxious for flowers and blooms or if things are truly slower this year. LOL.xoxo,Susie

    1. I do think of things like that. Two of the prettiest trees I planted in town have been cut down. A river clump birch and a weeping cherry. So sad. xoxo,Susie

  11. Beautiful! I've planted one tree in my life time. Last year. I thought the ice was going to kill it dead. I'm beginning to see a few buds. I don't even know what kind it is:) I'm certainly not a gardener.

    1. When planting a tree always read how big the circle of growth will be, so as not to put it too close to your house or power lines. That's about all I know of trees...oh and never plant willows never sewer or septic line. xoxo,Susie

  13. Things are springing to life around here as well. I believe the tree on the right is a Magnolia. There's on in my front yard.

    1. I think that is a magnolia. My daughter had one, they are beautiful when just fully bloomed...but the blossoms start to smell badly when they are falling and rotting on the ground. LOL. Blessings for s great weekend, xoxo,Susie
