This cute little house in town , on Main Street. It has two of the prettiest trees right now. I am sure when they were planted , the one planting them never dreamed they would be so big. They actually touch each other.
I am having problems loading my photos. I can get to the file, but once there, the lay-out looks different each time. I would love to see how well this all worked with a different carrier....know what I am saying. Slow service and flaky at best. That is how I would describe our carrier.
Raining here today. A slow gentle rain...the kind I like. I will do some household chores to be ready for the weekend. I do not like doing chores on the weekend. I know I am retired, but it's still nice to just play and relax on the weekend. Wishing all of you a great day. xo
wow those are stunning trees!!! No blossoms here yet,,,,, I agree, the week end should be set aside for relaxing if one is able, have the best Friday!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, I am going to try a painting today. I will post it if it turns out.LOL.. It will be a small one. I wish I had talent enough to paint those trees in my post. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOur whole neighborhood looks like that in the spring...Things are very late this year..Just starting to bud..Have a wonderful weekend..
ReplyDeleteMissy, My lilacs are starting to bud, they are leafed out.The crabapple is starting to bloom , my weeping cherry and redbud seem to have slowed down. Those are the only blossoming bushes and trees I have . Oh the catalpa tree is always last to get it's blooms. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Suppose to clear up here this afternoon...but rain on and off I think for a few days. xoxo,Susie
DeleteSo pretty, Susie...I can't wait to see blossoms here! It rained here yesterday and I just loved it...everything is greening up!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I don't mind a gentle rain ...just hate those downpours that flood things. I can't figure out if I am overly anxious for flowers and blooms or if things are truly slower this year. LOL.xoxo,Susie
DeleteThe trees are beautiful Susie! We had the rain last night!
ReplyDeleteBeth, I thought of you last night, the weather map showed the rain heading to your area. Hope you are having a nice day today. xoxo,Susie
DeleteBeautiful trees! Ours have bloomed and are gone already. You should try to paint those trees.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I love to do watercolors...I want to paint loosely but end up try to be too detailed most times. :):) xoxo,Susie

So beautiful. It's sunny here in Colorado but snow coming.....yes snow.
ReplyDeleteI love those trees!
ReplyDeleteSpring is slowly arriving here, thank goodness!
Those trees are beautiful! It is fun to think about who will enjoy the trees we plant now, isn't it? Hope you have had a great day-it's been beautiful here!
ReplyDeleteI do think of things like that. Two of the prettiest trees I planted in town have been cut down. A river clump birch and a weeping cherry. So sad. xoxo,Susie
DeleteBeautiful! I've planted one tree in my life time. Last year. I thought the ice was going to kill it dead. I'm beginning to see a few buds. I don't even know what kind it is:) I'm certainly not a gardener.
ReplyDeleteWhen planting a tree always read how big the circle of growth will be, so as not to put it too close to your house or power lines. That's about all I know of trees...oh and never plant willows never sewer or septic line. xoxo,Susie
DeleteBeautiful trees. They speak of Spring, don't they? I'm like you, and do very little on the weekend. love it!
ReplyDeleteMy mom loved seeing all the trees in bloom...then she'd say, "Oh I want one of those ." LOL xoxo,Susie
DeleteThings are springing to life around here as well. I believe the tree on the right is a Magnolia. There's on in my front yard.
ReplyDeleteI think that is a magnolia. My daughter had one, they are beautiful when just fully bloomed...but the blossoms start to smell badly when they are falling and rotting on the ground. LOL. Blessings for s great weekend, xoxo,Susie
DeleteThose trees are really beautiful, Susie. I am sorry you are having problems loading pictures. I don't know if it is your server or just blogger acting up. xoDiana
ReplyDeleteI am going to try to download some pictures for my post today. xoxo,Susie
