Here's a couple pictures of our park, from yesterday. The grass is greening, but the trees have not leafed out yet. They have trimmed the trees, cut down trees that were dying. Also they have planted many new trees near the creek that flows through our park. I absolutely will get more pictures as the Spring and Summer happens. We got a dusting of snow last night.
I got up last night to see the blood moon and saw snow instead. So I went back to bed. The temperatures are below freezing, sure hope it warms up quick. Suppose to get to about 40 degrees today. Hope you are having a good day. xo
It's 65 degrees here this morning, but that "awful" weather man said 39 in the morning. Where did spring go? Didn't it get here last week. That's a nice park.
ReplyDeleteSylvia, It is slowing getting abit warmer....hope it's not too last for the things that are trying to bloom. It's been a quirky spring, hasn't it? xoxo,Susie
DeleteI couldn't see the moon last night either....cloudy & snowy. It will be fun to see your park "come alive" xo Diana
ReplyDeleteDiana, I love seeing all the sun, moon and stars phenomenons ....hate when I miss them or can't see them. Our park will be 100 this summer. xoxo,Susie
Deletewatching your park come to life is a joy isn't it, no moon here, just snow, more snow, blah!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, This July our park will be 100 years old, there will be a celebration. :):) xo,Susie

I noticed they had planted so many new trees. Happy about that. Can't wait to get some wonderful photos after things bloom. Hope we all can have some great spring weather.xoxo,Susie
DeleteCold here today too, but the sun is shining brightly! Great photos Susie!
ReplyDeleteBeth, I keep hoping it will warm up ...but oh so far it's still plenty cold. I am getting in the mood for soup for dinner. xoxo,Susie
DeleteIsn't it wonderful to see green grass again after such a long winter? But it is COLD here this morning. We went from a thunderstorm Sunday to snow showers yesterday. You're probably getting the snow we had here in MO, but ours didn't accumulate, thankfully. Hope it warms up again soon! I about froze going out last night to try to get a shot of that beautiful red moon. My shots didn't turn out good and all I got for my efforts was waking up to a sore throat this morning! haha. It was pretty to see, though.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!

ReplyDeleteThat park will be ful of little voices soon. I love in our village how the first warm days everyone comes out of the woodwork. They did over the wee-end and then back in the cave with the new snow. We will survive, won't we. xo
